SAN DIEGO - Aug. 11, 2019 - In a world that seems more and more out of control, many are turning online to find peace. And it's here where author Edward Weiss has created the Facebook group, Peaceful Life. According to Weiss, people have an easier time of it online. They feel safe. Weiss comments…
"It's amazing how fast people are able to be themselves online. For those who hate small talk, this is their haven. They can connect with others and even become good friends over time. This is happening more and more; people turned off by all the violence in the world are flocking to cyberspace, specifically Facebook, with the hopes of making new connections."
The group Weiss started has an inviting banner where people are working behind a coffee bar. "All are invited," says Weiss who describes the group as a place people can come to discuss their joys and sorrows and bond with others in love and fellowship.
Will this new Facebook group change the world? Edward has this to say…
The more peace each of has, the better the world gets. In community, we heal each other. The desperate, the hopeless, the ones who have a lot of anger and hate in them, these are the people who need peace most of all. This is how we change the world, together and with love."
