INDIANAPOLIS - Aug. 6, 2019 - Traveling is second nature for nomad, Keisha J Jones aka Hunny Goddess and oftentimes, she travels with profound purpose (mostly, because grass doesn't grow beneath her feet) but, this time she's traveling with the sole intention to expose many independent artists across this great country.
Kicking off during the second week of August 2019, she will hit the road in search of indie artists at various venues to get to know, interview and share their distributed music across the airwaves via her beloved radio station that is fueled by Stationhead.
Spinning on her station is only that of indie music that has been either submitted to her by various artists or she's acquired on her own; but, mainly it's the handiwork of her incredibly talented DJ that keeps her station fresh, hip and updated (fret not, he'll be traveling alongside her while using his expert ear to gather the hottest ish).
Tuesdays at 8:00 pm EST., Hunny's Nu Shit - Open Mic is an artist's hub, community as well safe space to showcase the talents and skillsets of artists of all mediums. Artist interviews are conducted weekly on Wednesdays at 9:00 pm EST., on Hunny's ArtistLux. Plus, there are pop-up shows in between as well an entire line-up of other shows.
This tour will not only broaden the reach and exposure of indie artists it will also gain them streams as the music on her station streams continuously. Also, other hosts "bite" (meaning they add the track(s) to their libraries) tracks and add them to their stations; which means the artist's reach will have expanded to their audience as well.
The tour will be conducted nationwide over a course of year and various venues will be engaged and frequented to gain access to the city's hottest talents; so keep your eyes peeled for the Indie Artist/Stationhead Tour coming to a city near you!
