GULFPORT, Miss. - Aug. 5, 2019 - Husband and wife music ministry team, Harold and Paula Vega Vondenstein, of Bible Belt Blues, are launching a series of seminars to help aspiring recording artists and music producers entitled, Indie Artist Music Success Seminars. Their very first seminar entitled, "How to Record & Produce Music in Your Own Home Studio-How We Did It" will be held in their hometown of Gulfport, Mississippi on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Residence Inn on Airport Road from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite and on their website: BibleBeltBlues.org.
Their workshop seminar will be fun and interactive and limited to thirty people. Harold and Paula are eager to share the methods they used to compose, record, mix, master, and produce their two newly released Christian albums using their own home recording studio. The Vondensteins believe that there is so much raw musical talent right here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, many of whom would love to begin recording their music without breaking the bank.
Topics covered for future seminars by Bible Belt Blues with their Indie Artist Music Success Seminars will include the following: creating the music, crafting the lyrics, building your fan base, marketing like a pro, promoting your music brand, building your website, creating your YouTube channel, album cover design, writing effective press releases, securing media coverage, securing radio airplay, using Spotify effectively, getting on playlists, and getting your music recognized through album reviews and music award shows.
Amazingly, a year ago Christian musicians Paula and Harold Vega Vondenstein were not even creating music together as a couple. Fast forward eleven months later, this dynamic Christian music duo, who call themselves Bible Belt Blues, have created, produced, and released two Christian albums since January of 2019: "I'm Not Ashamed to Be a Christian" and "My God, My God." They have received considerable radio airplay through Bill and Kat Radio's Cross 104 Gospel Blues Hour Syndicated Program resulting in numerous placements on the Roots Music Report.
Against all odds, they received two finalist nominations in the 2019 Josie Music Awards in the genre of Gospel/ Christian/ Inspirational after 23,000+ nominations were submitted across all genres from around the globe. Hopeful to receive those coveted awards at the Fifth Annual 2019 Josie Music Awards on September 21st at Dollywood Theater, the Vondensteins give all glory to God for the doors He has opened up for them.
Bible Belt Blues' music influence is unmistakably early Mississippi Bentonia blues and their lyrics are bold and biblically sound. Bible Belt Blues has positioned itself in a unique place within the Christian music genre with a sound so fresh with its wailing harmonica and gritty guitar picking seamlessly blended with its full-fledged repentance songs and songs for church revivals. Their music can be streamed on Spotify or available for download purchase at the CD Baby Store. Physical album CDs are available at events and on their website: BibleBeltBlues.org.
