WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - July 24, 2019 -To kickoff Florida's spiny lobster season, Sailfish Marina Resort (http://www.sailfishmarina.com/) will host its seventh annual Singer Island Spiny Lobsterfest event on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from noon to 8:00 p.m. This family-friendly festival will celebrate the lobster season kickoff through a variety of local lobster dishes with proceeds benefitting the West Palm Beach Fishing Club (http://www.westpalmbeachfishingclub.org/).

Spiny Lobsterfest (https://www.facebook.com/events/899750557067915/) will feature live music by Big Vince and the Phat Cats, nautical art, marine sports apparel, jewelry vendors, street and face painting, raffles and silent auctions, kids' activities and a water slide. Sailfish Marina's signature "Lobster Pet Costume Contest" is expected to again prove itself a crowd favorite with a grand prize gift basket from Woof Gang Bakery and a weekend stay at Sailfish Marina Resort. The marina-side festival will take place on the spacious greenery of the brand new Tiki Lawn adjacent to the restaurant.

Spiny Lobsterfest will have something for everyone to enjoy with admission costing just $10 dollars, which includes one food ticket. Attendees can get fulfill their lobster craving with succulent dishes such as lobster ceviche, lobster macaroni and cheese, grilled lobster tails, lobster rolls and more. Children age 12 and younger are free to attend the festival. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at Sailfish Marina at 98 Lake Drive, Palm Beach Shores, FL 33404. To make it possible for the whole community to attend, Sailfish Marina is offering free shuttle service to and from Singer Island's Ocean Mall throughout the festival.
