It is a cat socialization, foster, environmental enrichment education and weight management center, and was recently published in a pet obesity book by board certified veterinary nutritionists. On the fun side we held the 2016 Kitten Olympics. (Insert news clip). The goal is for cats to have a "happy visit" (including car ride!) to allow veterinary visits to be easier on pet & pet parents. We are adding a 750 square foot gym/daycare adjacent to our downstairs grooming area. Groups will be limited to 5-10 dogs to provide a safe quality veterinary supervised socialization & exercise experience. It will also serve as a meeting area for future Yappy Hours, dog club meetings etc.

BACKGROUND
Cat Friendly Practice™ Designation & Dog Friendly techniques (similar to Fear Free™ ) are now a very important part of veterinary medicine to avoid undue stress and make pets want to return to clinics willingly, It is our hope that by adding these new services to our current focus on pet obesity they will make future visits easier and help prevent behavior problems too.
