Courses offered
ICRI established campuses in Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Hyderabad. Full time courses include MSc in Clinical Research in collaboration with Cranfield University UK, MS in Clinical Research in collaboration with MUSC, US. It also offers MSc in Clinical Trials in a tie-up with IGNOU. ICRI and Accenture present PG Diploma in CR and Pharmacovigilance. It also offers two additional courses - Advanced PG Diploma in Clinical Research and Advanced PG Diploma in Healthcare Management. Facilities at the various centres of excellence include air-conditioned lecture theatres, library of clinical research books, and state-of-the-art information technology infrastructure.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria
To apply for a course at ICRI, you must be a post graduate or graduate in life sciences with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate score. Life sciences include Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics and Biotech. Post graduates or graduates with Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Nursing can also apply to the various courses. ICRI conducts written examination, personal interview and then screens candidates on the basis of merit.

Apart from the regular classroom teaching by eminent faculty, ICRI provides stimulated solutions and role-plays for students to understand the various roles involved in Clinical Research. Additional teaching aids include video film footage on actual clinical trials, case studies based on real life clinical research situations, and workshops to exchange information.
Added to these, students can be a part of pre-clinical site visits performed at various companies in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, biotechnological, and chemical industries from the public and private sectors. To get hands-on understanding, visits to clinical trials centres are also conducted.
Services to the Corporate Sector
Leveraging upon its expertise in the clinical research field, it offers corporate training to major clients including Dr.Reddy's Lab, Panacea Biotech, Apollo Hospital, Hinduja Hospital, IPCA Lab, and Jaslok Hospital. In addition to training and education in clinical research studies, ICRI also provides services to the clinical research industry such as feasibility studies, cost estimation, project management, protocol development, SOP design, site selection, statistical work and data management and preparation and submission of audit and final reports. Its staffing division offers contract outsourcing and staffing to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, specializing in recruitment of clinical and trial personnel and scientific/laboratory personnel.
Achievements
ICRI organised four national annual conferences since 2004 in association with esteemed organisations such as WHO and Department of Science and Biotechnology. With a focus on clinical research and development in India, ICRI also organised international conferences. ICRI was presented with the prestigious UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) Award for working together in education for Translational Medicine and Molecular Biology.
With its own publication division established in January 2005, ICRI publishes a good number of books for clinical research students and members of the Indian pharmaceutical community.
