Checkmate Entertainment launched it's independent record label in Atlanta with a bang. The camera lights were flashing as the guest entered Patchwerk Recording Studios to see the gold and black theme with top shelf open bar and delicious catered food.

The live room in Patchwerk was used to begin the networking and press photos, from there the guest were directed to an upper room where the food was layed out buffet style. If you are one to pay attention to fine details then you noticed the over sized chest pieces throughout the room.

Checkmate Entertainment gave listeners an ear full of great music. This label is literally filled with undeniable talent that left guest chanting "Checkmate" . The label launch has the street buzzing, and from the looks of things they will be around for a very long time.

The new Empire on the rise is very well put together with strategic planning and the right team to execute the plan. Checkmate representatives were on site to answer questions and provide the guest with information about the record label.

We look at Checkmate Entertainment as being locked and loaded with the best of both worlds. From R&B, Pop, Rap to gospel the talent is fierce and a force to be reckoned with.
