Barnes & Noble Oceanside Hosts Celebrity Guest Deborah Pratt, Columnist Sarka-Jonae Miller and More

The Oceanside Barnes & Noble welcomes award-winning actress/director/author/producer Deborah Pratt (Quantum Leap, Airwolf, Cora Unashamed) award-winning author/columnist Sarka-Jonae Miller, and seven more Southern California authors for their Sizzlin' Summer event on June 20 at 4PM.

The event comprises an author panel followed by a book signing where fans can grill the panelists on anything they want about writing, publishing, and marketing books. Pratt and Miller are joined by Jan Moran, Juliette Sobanet, Vanessa A. Ryan, Patricia Mann, Lisa Kessler, Sherrie Miranda, and Samantha Sommersby, all talented authors from San Diego and Los Angeles Counties. The authors write in a variety of genres from cozy mysteries to steamy romances, all sure to please beach read fans.

The event was organized by Miller, who organized two similar events earlier this year at the Grossmont Center Barnes & Noble. The popularity of the panels inspired her to create an Ask An Author column with San Diego's East County Magazine. It's a Q&A format answering questions about all things books.

For fans who don't want to wait until the summer kickoff, Miller and Sobanet will be appearing together at Warwick's in La Jolla (7182 Girard Ave) June 7 from noon to 2PM. However, Miller said last time she did a signing at Warwick's she stayed until closing.
