Twin Cities Retro Horror/Sci Fi Director Celebrates Tenth Feature Film in Ten Years May 20

MINNEAPOLIS -- Described by Mihm as a mixture of "The Princess Bride," "E.T. The Extra-terrestrial" and "The Goonies," "Danny Johnson Saves The World" is promoted as a family-friendly movie done in the style of the black and white science fiction films of the 1950s. As with his previous films, Mihm served as producer, writer, cinematographer, director and editor of the final product.

Inspired by years of watching late-night horror and sci-fi flicks with his late father, and as a tribute to him, Mihm kicked off his career with "The Monster of Phantom Lake," (multiple indie film award winner and still fan-favorite), followed by "It Came From Another World!," "Cave Women on Mars," "Terror from Beneath the Earth," "Destination: Outer Space," "Attack of the Moon Zombies," "House of Ghosts," "The Giant Spider" (which won the Forrest J. Ackerman Award at the Famous Monsters of Filmland Film Festival) and "The Late Night Double Feature." Most of his films are available at amazon.com, and all are available at sainteuphoria.com.

Advance tickets are available at dannyjohnsonsavestheworld.com with limited tickets available at the door.

Synopsis
