PORT DOUGLAS, Australia -- TPDD executive officer Tara Bennett said Brearley would replace Chelsea Mee in a relief role. Her maternity leave will commence this Friday, April 17.
“We are pleased to welcome Ben. He brings a wealth of experience to the organisation having worked for over 10 years in sales, marketing and business development and I am confident he will make a significant contribution to the team,” she said.
Ms Bennett said Brearley's primary role would include developing and implementing TPDD’s digital strategy in the areas of social media marketing, website marketing, email marketing and other areas as required.
“Ben will also be responsible for the maintenance and development of TPDD’s social media channels, leisure and niche websites as well as implementing marketing campaigns through traditional marketing methods including print, radio and television.
“In conjunction with this he will develop and host trade and media famils to showcase everything the region has to offer,” Ms Bennett added.
“We would also like to wish Chelsea and her husband Christian all the best as they prepare for the imminent arrival of their first born child.”
Mr Brearley said he was looking forward to stepping up into the role. “It is a fantastic opportunity to ultilise my experience and skills to promote a region in which I have a great deal of passion and belief in.”
