NOIDA, India -- Nishikant Dubey, Member of Parliament from Godda constituency in Jharkhand spoke straight from his heart as he met Sanjay Kaw from India Empire. Dubey said that the results of the recently concluded Assembly elections in five states show the drastic changes that took place in Indian politics during the past five to six years. Where people have now access to 24 x 7 news channels, mobile phones, and internet, political parties did not use these channels of communication to connect with the aspirations of the masses. According to him, while India’s youth is worried about itself, it started, at the same time, to identify herself/himself with transparent institutions.

Nishikant Dubey Godda said that the objective of all political parties is to address the problem of unemployment and eradicate poverty. However, in the Lok Sabha, the members do not see the commitment of any party to address these issues. He explained it by the fact that people are using the dangerous trend to consider these crucial problems with partisan politics. Since coalition politics become a reality in the country, there is a complete disconnect in the federal structure because all regional parties want to address to the aspirations of their respective vote-banks. The Member of Parliament said that a better coordination is required between the Centre and the states.

When it comes to rise of son Akhilesh Yadav and dynastic politics in the country, Nishikant Dubey mp acknowledged that the dynastic politics has gone to the roots of India’s system. The fact that the youth are considering “Raja’s” as their icons/symbols is a healthy sign. The MP said that while the dynastic politics played a major role only by Gandhi’s in India, he is sure that in the next 25 years, the roots of the dynastic politics will be weeded out of the system. He considered the loss of the Congress in Rai Bareilley and Amethi as a first step in this direction. Dubey added that in a near future, people will see Indian democracy being mature and youth-driven.

Nishikant Dubey Mp said that the former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, did not do justice to India’s system. He said that Dr. Singh has no practical knowledge of things happening at the lowest level and lacks practical approach. During his time as Prime Minister, Dubey said that there was a lot of disconnect between the administration and the people. However, the Member of Parliament admitted that the former Prime Minister did not have any stain on him and he is a very humble person.

The Nishikant Dubey MP added that the main problem with the projected growth by the government is that this growth is not reaching out to the end users. The gap between the poor and the rich is growing. According to him, leaders must make sure that the growth reaches out to the poorest of poor in India. He added that he is working towards a 100-year plan for Godda constituency and they have already got sanctions for the medical college, Agriculture College, technical institutes, power plants, the National Highway, and many other things.
