The Pirce collection has two lamp options, the halogen that gives dramatic silhouette to the fixture or in LED option, a warmer and softer light version.The Artemide Pirce is now available in White, Black and Gold finishes.
Artemide Pirce has received two award, as a winner of a Good Design award in 2007 and received a Red Dot Award in 2009.

Giuseppe Maurizio Scutella was born in 1962 in Alcamo (Trapani). He completed his school education and obtained an industrial expert diploma for mechanics in 1981. For 12 years her acted as senior Project tech designer of die-cast and plastic moulds, and cooperated with high tech companies designing equipment and moulds for Kawasaki, Ducati Bonfiglioli, Sylber, Metalwork, Gaggia, Mercedes, Fini, Prisma, Tronconi, and Artemide.
His creative thinking can be summarized as follows:
A technological lighting appliance has a soul, suggests a story, is often a poem without written verses. Light has a fragrance, is an enrapturing luminous sound, is beautifully alive, dynamic, as well as intimate and gentle; respecting its nature, embracing its languages made of lights and shades, trying to provide multiple keys for interpretation wherever I can in the projects I address, is my own way to approach its magic nature.
