Independent Economist Clifford Bennett, once named “world’s most accurate currency forecaster” by Bloomberg News NY has been testing his own forecasts with a City Index Audited model Trading Account.

The account has only been open a month and he has already grown the model portfolio 41.3%

Given that most portfolio managers can barely manage beating the index average this represents a substation win both for Mr Bennett and for his students.

Mr Bennett has been regularly featured on Bloomberg, Financial Review, The Age, The Australian, Switzer Daily, CNBC, and many other publications for his often contrary view on the global financial markets.

On a global market scale he refutes the bearish notion of a global economic recession and is typically bullish, but says that the 1st world free market economy is changing.

He names the big player up until now as the “Old First World” and claims that there is a new first world emerging and offering up a smorgasbord of investment opportunities that no one is talking about yet.
