BHOPAL, India -- JLU Bhopal welcomed more than 300 participants from 10 states at the National Integration camp which was organized at Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal from 11th January – 15th January 2015.
The camp was organised by NYKS in conjugation with JLU Bhopal. Participants in the camp participated in Cultural Programs, Group Discussions, Debates, Lectures, Essay and Elocution competitions on the theme of National Integration and Communal Harmony.
Participants were welcomed by the Olympian Hockey player 'Jalaluddin Rizvi' (Chief Guest). The National Integration camp was formally inaugurated by Shri Harimohan Gupta, Chancellor, JLU Bhopal. He urged the youth to be the flag bearer of the next generation and work towards the development of the country and society.
Also present at the ceremony were Shri Abhishek Gupta (CEO, JLU), Shri Sarit Kumar Choudhary (Director, Indira Gandhi Manav Sangrahalaya) and Actor Shri Javed Khan. Final lecture of the day was on “The Role of Youth Against Terrorism” which was addressed by Smt. Anuradha Shankar Singh (DIG, Bhopal) in which she cited the role of youth in the fight against terrorism.
The final day of the camp was also made special by the presence of honourable Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri. Babu Lal Gaur. While addressing the participants he talked about the importance and greatness of Indian culture and explained it citing excerpts from his political career.
The concluding day of the National Integration camp came to an end with the performances by the students of Jagran Lakecity University, making it memorable.
