VADODARA, India -- Purple Wings Production is a new entrant in this vast world of entertainment. Established by Mr. Kirtan Patel, Purple Wings Production takes movie making from a different angle. The company is not just a production house, but is socially savvy & digitally connected.

The company’s 1st project is a an urban gujarati movie “Bas Ek Chance” starring Rajeev Mehta, Aditya Kapadia, Falguni Dave, Alpesh Dhakan, Bhakti Kubavat, Mushtaq Khan, Vinod Thakur and Mitra Gadhvi. Directed and produced by Kirtan Patel, this movie is all about how passion makes a difference in anyone’s life.

A press conference was held on 16th Dec 2014 in Vadodara, Gujarati to officially announce movie launch. The press conference witnessed the presence of media professionals from the city along with the leading cast members of the film. Rajeev Mehta mentioned in the press conference “These are encouraging times for Gujarati cinema and it's good to see young filmmakers making films that are very relevant to the times. I liked the script of Bas Ek Chance and that is why I said 'yes' to the film”

“I really enjoyed my stint when I read the script of “Bas Ek Chance” an urban Gujarati movie and I ensure that audiences will highly appreciate this urban Gujarati movie. In fact, I consider myself lucky to be associated with a movie like “Bas Ek Chance” which for sure will break all records of previous Gujarati movies”, says Falguni Dave.

Aditya Kapadia in one of his interview said that “I feel very excited about making my debut in Gujarati films. I have high expectations from the film and I am sure that we will be able to entertain the audiences.”

The lead actresss Bhakti Kubavat said “The popular perception about Gujarati cinema will surely change, thanks to directors like Kirtan Patel. I am happy to be doing a Gujarati film at a time when the industry is changing for the better.”

Kirtan Patel said that he appreciates new talent and will like to give a chance to new upcoming faces. For this, Purple Wings Production has started an Open Casting Call and Open School Talent Hunt campaign. Participants need to upload a 1 minute video or a picture showcasing their passion & talent. These entries will be open for online voting and the entries with maximum votes will get a chance to get featured in the film and future projects.
