DEE WHY, Australia -- Australian startup Weply has recently released the world’s first Voice Over Email (VOeM) app available for download free on iPhone and Android devices. Weply lets people talk over email making email communication faster, better and safer.

To celebrate, they have launched a campaign targeting business leaders planning their end of year email blast. With Weply, they are able to record a special, personal greeting using their voice and send it out to staff and customers in a way that has never been done before.

“It’ s nice touch to her from the boss in a way that’s not too rehearsed…I feel like he’s let his guard down a bit”, describes Tyson, a Weply user.

Weply General Manager, Paul Conroy hopes this will be a clever way to create knock on exposure for Weply. “Some of the companies we’ve targeted have thousands of employees and everyone will open an email from their boss. It’s a nice way to add a personal touch at this time of year” He explains.
