ATLANTA -- Originally born in Brunswick, Ga., Rueben Wood now owner of Spaced Out Magazine, Radio, TV, SOM Music/Sony, and SOM Clothing Company, is making more than just a name for himself being from a small town in Georgia. Embarking upon this journey when he graduated from Brunswick High, he has been met with several challenges to become a ententity in the entertainment industry.

Wood recalled the time he spent in Dawson, Ga., a country town that still seems to have its biracial issues, when he said "I remember selling candy and food in school when i was in third grade, cause my allowance wasn't enough for me." At this young age surely he had ambition to be an entrepreneur, and more in corporate america.

To many it would seem as this is just another story of a young man with a small business and dreams, but most businesses have employees! Not the Spaced Out Magazine brand, it is soley ran by Rueben Wood himself, with no help from anyone. When the news was presented to many, they were astounded to find out his age, and his work ethic. Most young adults in the entertainment industry have managers, teams, and counselors to help deal with affairs of business, or help the burden of running a company. Not this man though, Wood is living proof that there is more to the young generation than what is percieved by society.

From accomplishing winning awards for his company, to cover many big name events, to interviewing our favorite icon, this young man is not your average 23 year old.
