NEW YORK -- On Thursday, December 4, 2014, the non-profit organization Milagros Day Worldwide hosted its 5th Anniversary Cocktail Gala Event in the ultra-posh lounge at New York City's most exclusive restaurant of the moment, Beautique.
Over the last five years, Milagros Day Worldwide has had a Profound Impact on the fabric of the New York Metropolitan Area, by providing Personal Development, Leadership Coaching, and Mentoring Programs to Survivors of Domestic Violence and Childhood Trauma.
This extraordinary evening brought together top influential leaders in the Fashion, Business and Entertainment Industries; to connect with each other, and join forces to achieve the next 5-Year vision of Turning Abuse into Success.
More importantly, the evening was attended by a dozen graduates from two of the organization's life-changing programs; The Legacy Bootcamp Retreat and The Transformation Academy. The ladies were dressed to the nines, and glowing with the pride of accomplishment and the joy of sisterhood. It was a very moving reunion to behold.
The event was hosted by the Founder of Milagros Day Worldwide, Dawn Diaz; Speaker, Author, Life-Coach, and Retired Paramedic Captain of the FDNY; who's newest venture, Rescue Coaching LLC, will facilitate Crisis Intervention and Personal Growth Strategies to Departments and Individuals in the Emergency Services Profession. To mark the importance of this event, Ms. Diaz was happy to wear a stunning, large purple amethyst and diamond teardrop pendant designed by Joseph Delgado, Principal at Kadella Diamonds; complemented by her flawless, dramatic make-up done by Rosemary Buccheri.
Entertainment for the evening was produced by In The Groove Global President, Ralph Muniz; saturated with the Soulful Classic Latin and Retro House Music sounds of the one and only Duce Martinez of Legendary Central Park Dance Skaters' fame; and sprinkled with a sultry performance by Songwriter, Recording Artist and Actress Natascha Bessez.
The Keynote Speaker for the evening was Global Transformational Leader,
Celebrity Coach and Author, Karen Hoyos who was a Founding Board Member of Milagros Day Worldwide, and now an Official Spokesperson. Milagros Day Worlwide is an offspring of Karen Hoyos' training, as its founder Dawn Diaz found her life's purpose of healing survivors of domestic violence and shifting the victim paradigm, five years ago, during her One-on-One Coaching Program with Ms.Hoyos, where she was able to create the organization in 90 Days.
