MOHALI, India -- As expected 50 chess sets were gone in just 48 hours. Chessbazaar’s latest chess set “Dubrovnik” has literally broken sales records as compared to the previous set 1849 J.Jaques series. After looking at the strong demand, chessbazaar is now planning to introduce 4” inch Dubrovnik version.

Dubrovnik is one of the fast-selling chess sets. Chessbazaar sold 35 chess sets in the first 24 hours, which has “blown away” the sale record in very less time. Gurpreet Singh Khokhar, the senior president of worldwide marketing of chessbazaarsaid that the customer response was "fabulous."

Chessbazaar is expected to sell approximately 300 Dubrovnik chess sets in October itself. Its arch rival J.Jaques set took around three months to reach the same ratio.

But now the hustle is all about what’s coming next! According to the recent report the official launch date of J.Jaques set is set as Nov 2. Expectations are high with some major changes in design. Believe it or not Vik, the owner of chessbazaar is himselfs working on the new design of J.Jaques.
