ALEXANDRIA, Australia -- Rhythm and Vines 2014 is fast approaching, with less than 100 days left until the big event. This year our very own Ayah Marah, aka ‘The Queen of Bass’ will be hitting the stage alongside Bastille, Netsky, Shapeshifter, Zane Lowe and a plethora of other incredible artists.
Founded in 2003, Rhythm and Vines has now firmly established itself as the ultimate New Year festival experience. The New Zealand festival, which started with a crowd of 1800 at a family vineyard, has become such a success that over 30,000 people now travel from around the globe to be a part of the event. Previous headliners have included renowned international acts Calvin Harris, N*E*R*D, Pendulum, Franz Ferdinand and Mark Ronson.
Known for her edgy mixing of underground dance music styles, Ayah Marah already has support from Kiss FM, Ministry of Sound Radio and BBC Radio 1Xtra. This year saw the release of her first album ‘The Real’, which showcases her talent of selecting the best elements of drum & bass, techno and house, and bolting them onto well-crafted pop hooks to make dance floors explode!
You can also catch Ayah at Rhythm & Alps, the biggest little music festival in New Zealand’s south island!
Both festivals will be from Monday 29 December 2014- Wednesday 31 December 2014.
