MARTINEZ, Calif. -- With dawn shofar blasts, the "Great Wave Offering" will begin, this morning. The spiritual rededication of the United States of America to God's holy path will run from 6am to 6pm, or dawn to dusk. The 9/11/14 event was chosen as a fitting culmination to the 555-day-long prayer event, "555 Days of Prayer to Save America."
The 555-day prayer built up, in stages, to a culminating 100-day-long prayer for the healing and restoration of The United States of America. Original plans for the "Great Wave Offering" called for a gathering at "Ground Zero," in New York City, New York. The event has been de-centralized ino the churches of the various Christian participants who believe in the rededication of the United States of America to its original God centered path.
The event will consist of the aforementioned shofar calls, at dawn and dusk, which will be accompanied by the waving of loaves of bread and wheat stalks before the altar. Banners, including the United States Christian Flag, The Kingdom of God Flag, The Christian Flag, and the United States Flag [as well as the Star of David Flag, for Israeli and Messianic Jewish participants] will be waved before he altar. Prayers follow.
After morning refreshments, there will, be readings of Psalm 19, worship, reading of "The Akdamut," and a noon-time feast on the Deuteronomy 8:8 fruits of the earth, which will also be started by shofar blasts and bread/wheat offerings; plus, the waving of banners. After the feast, there will be prayers, worship, the reading of Psalm 119, the Rededication Message, fellowship, closing prayers of rededication, and, at dusk, or 6pm, closing shofar calls, and, finally, a third, and final offering of bread and wheat; also accompanied by banner waving.
The event, led and organized by "One Church // One Voice" and "Save America Gathering," is also said, by the two non-profit organization's CEO, Robert P. Berry, to mark a full bore return to international ministry, by One Church / One Voice [tearing down the walls between us...]. Berry, the author of "Ephus and the Praying Bushel," is also working on a sequel to that Christian family-oriented storybook.
