BANGALORE, India -- Dr. Kalyan Kankanala, a national expert on Intellectual Property (IP) and a consultant for several MNCs, will be delivering a talk on Usage of Open Source Software in Business and the Changing Landscape of Open Source Licenses.
The session will be aimed at sharing valuable insights on open source licenses and their uses in business. Dr. Kalyan Kankanala will also discuss strategic integration of open source software with proprietary software and mitigation of open source risks.
The session is scheduled on 12th September, 2014, as a part of the seminar on the “Business Approach to Intellectual Property for IT, Electronics and Telecom Industries”, being organized by BananaIP, formerly Brain League, at Bangalore. The seminar is intended to provide a platform to the participants to enhance their IP portfolios and help them understand the impact of IP on industries.
