LAGUNA BEACH, CA (AUGUST 19, 2014) - Laguna North Neighborhood Association (LANO) will be hosting a Crime Prevention and Emergency Preparedness seminar for North Laguna residents at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17th at the Unitarian Universalist Church.
Speakers will include Laguna Beach Police Department Community Services Officer Nikie Hernandez and Emergency Management Coordinator Jordan Villwock. North Laguna residents will learn about North Laguna evacuation plans and neighborhood crime prevention as well as city-wide emergency planning and supplies.
“Every resident should know the information that we will be providing at this meeting for the safety of their loved ones and neighbors in the event of an emergency,” says Lester J. Savit president of LANO and a partner at the law firm One LLP in Newport Beach.
The meeting is free for North Laguna Beach (north of Broadway) residents and will include light refreshments and time to socialize with other North Laguna residents.
The Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 429 Cypress Drive in North Laguna Beach.
