The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts will begin 2015 with it's first ever juried art show, Resolutions 2015. The Hillsborough Gallery is an artists-owned collective in the historic town of Hillsborough. The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts usually only exhibits the work of its 22 members. The only exceptions to this have been occasional shows by the Orange County Artists Guild. The members of the Hillsborough Gallery looked at ways to exhibit other artists' work and came up with the idea of a juried art show.

The theme of the juried show is Resolutions 2015. The show is open to two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art in any medium, no wider than 36 inches and no heavier than 50 pounds by North Carolina artists over the age of 18. The deadline for entries is September 15th 2014. Accepted artwork must be hand delivered to the Gallery on January 3rd or 4th, 2015. The show will run from January 5th - January 25th, 2015 with an Opening Reception on Friday January 9th from 6 - 9 p.m. All works must be for sale.

Timothy Riggs, Curator of Collections for the Ackland Art Museum will be the juror for the awards. Entries will be accepted online through Online Juried Shows from June 1st to September 15th.
