HOUSTON -- JNoS Public Relations proudly welcomes Kina Kaye to the team.
Kina Kaye is a singer-songwriter who is best known for her Jazz and R&B influenced vocals. After years of singing in local churches and bars, the highly anticipated journey as a recording artist begins with her debut single “Think About That”. Kina’s artistry is full of her unique character and personality which compliments her lyrical story telling. However, one aspect that may not be quite evident in her music is her involvement in the legal system. Kina Kaye has been a practicing attorney for eight years.
When she’s not writing music or performing, Kina is advocating for the rights of others in the court room. She writes and performs with the desire to inspire listeners to embrace their highest self-worth. This desire birthed her first initiative “Think About That” which was created in honor of her late colleague attorney Chiquita Tate. Chiquita lost her life as a result of domestic violence. Her untimely demise impacted Kina tremendously. Kina Kaye remembers Chiquita as a fierce stylish woman who exhibited a firm belief in justice. Chiquita inevitably left a positive mark with everyone she met with her contagious personality and uninhibited mentality.
Kina Kaye’s initiative “Think About That” AKA T.A.T. challenges others to think about the number of persons who are subject to domestic violence daily. The T.A.T. initiative encourages others to become aware of the number of people who suffer in silence on a daily basis. It creates a platform which provides an outlet for women to overcome theirs struggles with domestic violence.
