Byron Nicolaides, PEOPLECERT’s Chairman & CEO (www.peoplecert.org (http://www.peoplecert.org)), met with representatives of the leading ITIL® training organisations in India, in the first of a series of ‘behind closed doors’ events organised by the global certification organisation.
The aim of the events was to provide a private and exclusive forum to discuss the changes in the industry in the new ‘AXELOS era’, the challenges training organisations face, the opportunities the additional Global Best Practice certifications offer and the ways PEOPLECERT can support the region’s industry growth through its latest exam management solutions and marketing tools.
Representatives of 40 of the leading training organisations accredited by PEOPLECERT, including Simplilearn, Vinsys, Novelvista, Practical Methods, Moulik, Pixacore and ITSM Tech, among others, attended these exclusive events that took place in Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.
“India is a key market for us and we have already committed to invest in the region, through local resources (India-based Vivek Joseph was appointed as PEOPLECERT’s Regional Manager in the beginning of the year), above and below the line initiatives and synergies with local players, to better position the Global Best Practice portfolio’s value in the market. As part of this focus, we decided to host a series of small, ‘behind closed doors’ events, aiming to offer an exclusive get together for our partners, where they can give us their honest feedback for the current environment, market needs and our services”, says Byron Nicolaides, PEOPLECERT’s Chairman & CEO.
“Large-scale events can be beneficial for networking and sales driven opportunities, however, there are plenty of such events already out there and we wanted to offer a different platform, a selective get together, where our partners feel comfortable to open up and share information on sensitive issues - such as pricing- with other training organisations, which they wouldn’t be able to do in large gatherings”, Nicolaides adds.
Clear action points came out of the events, which PEOPLECERT will incorporate in solutions due to be launched within the next few months. “Expect to see a lot more PEOPLECERT initiatives in India, a few innovative tools that will truly transform the way exams are managed and some “cool” features that will further facilitate the candidate exam experience, all aiming to add further value to our partners and the end user”, says Vivek Nicholas Joseph.
PEOPLECERT will be organising more ‘behind close doors’ get together events in various locations across the world.
