POMONA, Calif. -- On July 18, 2014, Pelekinesis will release "Pomona A to Z" by David Allen, an alphabetical tour through 26 uniquely entertaining aspects of Pomona, California. This delightful series of newspaper columns first appeared in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin July 18, 2004-July 3, 2005. This 10th anniversary edition, the first time in book form, includes updates, commentary, a foreword by broadcast journalist Steve Julian, and a new introduction by the author.

Pomona A to Z by David Allen will be released July 18th, 2014 by Pelekinesis and will be available through Small Press Distribution, Baker & Taylor, and Bertrams, and directly from the publisher's website.

David Allen began his newspaper career in 1987 at the Santa Rosa (Calif.) News Herald. After stints at the Rohnert Park-Cotati Clarion, Petaluma Argus-Courier and Victorville Daily Press, in 1997 he joined the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, where he is a columnist and blogger. A native of Illinois, he lives in Claremont, which is Pomona-adjacent.
