STATESBORO, Ga. -- Dream City University will open for R&B singer, Jacob Latimore on April 12 at the Luetta Moore Park located at 121 MLK Blvd. in Statesboro, GA.
Presented by Dallas Cowboy's Jeremy “Mr. Mince” Mincey, Dream City University will continue their East Coast tour to promote their mixtape, Back On Campus Vol. 1 and forthcoming album #DCU4Ever. This diverse group of artists will perform a 6 minute choreographed set with original music from different genres and conclude with their latest single, Street Lights, a local party anthem.
Dream City University is under the direction of Alisha “M’Jestie” Brooks, who is most known for penning the hit single, Pon De Replay, that landed Rihanna her record deal with Island Def Jam in 2005. M'Jestie has since written for Bad Boy recording artist, Cherie Dennis, Melanie Fiona, Victoria Beckham and a host of other international artists. Comprised of more than 20 developing students from ages 4 and up, Dream City University focuses on artist development, media training and business classes as part of their curriculum. Through its online classes, the organization has already launched internationally with students in France and India.
