DYERSBURG, Tenn. -- The Global Wrestling Association (GWA) announced it will hold the first-ever fifteen-man "Grand Prix" match on Saturday, May 24. The match will be the main event of the "GWA Grand Prix" event, to be held in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

"We are excited to bring this unique event to wrestling fans in West Tennessee," said GWA Executive Vice President Chris Camden. "This inaugural Grand Prix match will be a challenge for its fifteen participants - and an exciting spectacle for our fans in attendance."

All fifteen competitors in the Grand Prix will draw numbers at random before the bout. The competitors who drew #1 and #2 will enter the ring and the match will begin. Every two minutes thereafter, another competitor will enter the ring according to the number he drew.

Participants will be eliminated from the match by being thrown out of the ring over the top rope. In order for an elimination to occur, both of a participant's feet must touch the arena floor (as determined by one of the referees at ringside).

When two competitors are left in the match, a referee will enter the ring and the bout will continue as a traditional one-fall match. The winner of that match will win the 2014 Grand Prix and will defend his title in 2015.

Participants in the inaugural Grand Prix will be announced shortly.

"GWA Grand Prix" will be held on Saturday, May 24 at the AAW Arena in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Tickets start at just $10 and will be available starting Thursday, March 13 at 9:00am EST at GWAlive.com.
