SHARJAH, UAE -- Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah sets another milestone by winning the award for the Best Garden in Sharjah, issued by Municipality of Sharjah.

Standing majestically along the white sandy beach of Arabian Gulf, Radisson Blu Resorts have two beautiful gardens of 7000 sqm. These two gardens include variety of beautiful flowers from different species, rare native plants and is also a home for different birds. The gardeners plant various types of plants every month and are maintained regularly. In addition to this, as part of the sustainability project "Think Planet", gardeners use the recycled water from the hotel.

Out of the 15 Nominations from the private sector, Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah was recognized for the efforts given to the garden on its care and maintenance by the staff of the hotel. "Our team had worked extremely hard to achieve an award like this. It is a great honor to receive the award and to be recognized for our dedication to sustainability of the environment. “said Mohiy Sowilam, the chief engineer of the hotel.
