Blue Chip and Citrix Present The Secure Mobile Working Event

POOLE, U.K. -- IT specialist and Citrix Gold Solutions Adviser, Blue Chip has partnered with Citrix to present a series of Secure Mobile Working events across the South. Taking place in Bournemouth on 26th February and Basingstoke on 5th March, the interactive seminars explore how to create a secure working environment for ‘mobile workers’ using products designed specifically to solve the security issues surrounding staff using their own devices to access their business network and data.

Anthony Green, sales and marketing director at Blue Chip, explains: “Until now, companies have not been able to offer staff the flexibility of being able to use any device without compromising its data security, particularly Smart phones. Citrix XenMobile, working with XenDesktop provides an integrated solution that enables mobile devices, apps and data to be managed and secured from a centralised point, whilst IT departments can set up data and app policies, based on device ownership, status and location.”

Blue Chip invites IT managers and business owners who have mobility and business security on their agenda to attend the free of charge, round table workshops. The focus is on two areas: first highlighting the implications of not securing mobile access and presents the solution through XenMobile and second, looking at the features of XenDesktop 7.5, released in January, as the most established tool for secure application and desktop access on any device.

The events (both 10am to 2pm with working lunch) take place at The Cumberland Hotel in Bournemouth on Wednesday 26th February 2014, with a second at Oakley Hall in Basingstoke on Wednesday 5th March 2014.
