ACT, Australia -- Australian singer and songwriter Vince Gelonese is living his dream after his debut single hit number 2 on the Billboard Hot Single Sales chart overnight.
His song ‘Every Dream’ has jumped 12 spots to #19, on the US FMQB AC40., giving him over 600 radio plays all over the United States each week.
This comes as the singer has just released the music video clip for ‘Every Dream’, which was filmed in his home town of Canberra, by a Hollywood film crew late in 2013.
Leaping over artists such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Pink/Nate Reuss and Lady Gaga, Vince is set for a huge 2014 with his tour of the US.
Showing true staying power, the song has remained in the top 20 of this chart for the last 28 weeks.
Vince said it is mind blowing to be sharing the charts with superstars.
His romantic single is just behind new singles by Avicii, Katy Perry, One Direction, Sara Bareilles and Justin Timberlake in radio plays.
‘Every Dream’ is also tied for #2 most added AC track (10 adds) with Lorde’s ‘Team’, Colbie Caillat’s ‘Hold On’ and Kanisha K’s ‘My Another Day’.
“The most amazing thing is hardly anyone in Australia knows my music.” Vince said
Vince said the best Christmas present he got last year was when his song re-entered the top 10 charts.
He is currently collaborating with veteran songwriter/producer Ronnie King, who has worked with Mariah Carey, The Offspring, Kottonmouth Kings, the Hawaiian rock band Pepper, 2Pac and Snoop Dogg.
