TAHOE CITY, Calif. -- The Kymco S9 Malossi 70cc Racing Sidehack, tuned by Master Wrench Jeff "Robot" Corsaro of Motorsport Vespa, San Diego, CA, has been completed under the watchful eyes of its rider, Alan Spears. All of this preparation is in anticipation of racing the Lake Tahoe T.T. 320-Mile Ultra-Extreme Endurance Race, that starts and finishes at Motel 6 #250 in South Take Tahoe. Riders may choose their direction of travel, clockwise or counter-clockwise. The counter-clockwise direction is comprised of a giant loop that takes riders through Carson City, Reno, Truckee, Auburn and Placerville. This challengine mountain route traverses Donner Pass, and the Tahoe and El Dorado National Firests. Following the "Big Loop", riders must race one lap around the lake on Highways 50, 28, 89 and back to 50. The event poster on Motor-Scooter International's website, http://www.motorscooterlandspeedfederation.org depicts the race course. Ten percent (10%) of all entry fees are donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Testing of the Kymco begins January 19th, and will continue through February 22nd, after which new Conti "Twist" racing tyres will be fitted, and the engine will be brought into spec by Jeff Corsaro.
