BOSTON -- No stranger to the limelight, Hernandez and his work through DH Studios Inc. has won an abundance of nominations and awards spanning across his entire career. Most recently, Hernandez was invited to dine and network amongst the industry’s finest at the 2013 New York Fashion Awards. A first-time nominee for “Avant Garde Designer of the Year,” DH Studios made its debut in style and brought the award home to Boston. Details are in the works but we hear the NYFA newcomer will be headlining the 2014 Fall event. With an entire year to prepare and a special layover in Vegas, we wonder, what inspiration will come from the FWLV experience?
Las Vegas, a mecca of life and entertainment, is famous for its casino-hotels and promiscuous branding earning it the nickname of “Sin City.” From the Boulevard to the Las Vegas Strip, tourists travel near and far to ogle the bright lights and immerse themselves in all the shows and spectacles this city has to offer. Come February, DH Studios and all that is “Extrinsic” will have its turn in the fun bringing to life creatures of couture, leaving the audience feeling a little sinful.
You know what they say, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” ...not this year. If we’re lucky, Hernandez will bring his encore presentation to New York and then back home to Boston.
