LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- When Australia’s high-profile entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins informed Cate Blanchett on Channel Nine’s TODAY show that she was a roaring favourite with Sportingbet.com.au to win this year’s Golden Globe/BAFTA/Academy Award treble for her performance in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, the actress joked about comparisons with Phar Lap.
