DENVER -- MOD LIVIN’ PRESENTS: MODERN LOVE
A Celebration to Benefit Denver CASA
December 29, 2013(Denver, CO) – On Thursday, December 29,, 2013 , Mod Livin’ Modern Furniture (www.modlivin.com), the Denverbased purveyor of modern and midcentury modern home furnishings and accessories, announced their upcoming event, Modern Love, in partner with Goldyn, The Scout Guide, and Matthew Morris Salon.
Modern Love will feature limited edition art prints from five Denver artists which will be announced in January. Pieces will be created upon the eponymous theme, Modern Love.
All proceeds from art sold will go directly to Denver CASA. The evening will also include an informal fashion show. Models will be dressed and styled by Goldyn proprietor and sartorial maven, Vanessa Barcus, with hair and make up from Matthew Morris Salon.
Denver CASA is a nonprofit which gives abused and neglected children in the Denver Juvenile Courts a civilian to watch over and advocate for them, giving a voice to their situation and making sure no one is left behind or lost in the system. Volunteers stay with each case until it’s closed and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.
The public is invited to join us on Saturday, February 8th from 6:308:30PM at Mod Livin’,
5327 E. Colfax Avenue. Libations will be on hand with records spinning at the hand of local Deejay, Tony White.
