LONDON, U.K. -- The London-based specialist construction company, ME Construction (http://www.meconstruction.co.uk/home/), has won a further contract from the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
This time, the work is at St Mary’s Hospital and involves a partial refurbishment of an existing cardiac catheter ward. The result of ME Construction’s work will be a new Endoscopy Scope Decontamination Unit at the hospital.
Paul Driver, ME Construction’s Business Development Director, explained: “Having stripped out the ward, our team will install new doorways, strengthen the existing floor and carry out modifications and enhancements to the mechanical and electrical installations – in particular, installing new equipment for cleaning, drying and packaging scopes within a clinically clean environment.”
The project, which is scheduled to be completed in March next year, is the second contract which the company has won from the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
“Winning repeat business is always a good sign,” Paul added. “It indicates that we’re producing a ‘quality’ end product; focusing on ‘on time’ delivery; maintaining an enthusiastic, proactive, professional and dynamic approach; delivering a responsive aftercare service, and exceeding expectations to ensure the customer is happy.”
Paul’s fellow director at ME Construction, Barry O’Sullivan, commented: “We place great importance in consistently ensuring that our staff excel in all these areas –and more - so that we can provide the impressive level of service that our clients expect.”
ME Construction, which specialises in refurbishment and conservation projects (http://www.meconstruction.co.uk/about-us/sectors/) in London, has won and delivered some 20 projects in the healthcare sector in the last six years – many of them being ‘repeat business’.
