CONNAUGHT PLACE, India -- As part of CSR initiative and mark the World AID day, delegates from Wrest Corp visited various areas to check the awareness of AIDS in New Delhi region, amongst the sex workers.

While addressing the sex workers, the delegates explained the numerous aspect of this dreadful disease, and enlightened people on various ways to avoid getting infected. After nearly two hours of interaction, the delegates realized that scattered knowledge about AIDS amongst sex workers was eminent, but knowledge about other STD’s i.e. Sexually Transmitted Diseases was missing and precariously overlooked.

Nitin Ticku, Principal Consultant Wrest Corp said: “The sex industry in Thailand or Netherlands is very organized & health conscious, mainly due to its legal status, but India also needs to find a solution and address this major global concern”. With paucity of time, the delegates of Wrest Corp eventually played a presentation to the gathering, and talked about STD’s and precautionary measures, which everyone promised to follow at all the times.
