Last year the Surrey Food bank was concerned that due to a cold snap and poor road conditions, donations at drop off locations would not be picked up and delivered to the Surrey Food Bank distribution centre in time for the holidays. When the owners and workers at a local moving company heard this news, they knew they had to help. The company stepped up and donated the trucks and fuel for a week to ensure all donations from drop off locations were picked up. The employees volunteered to drive the trucks and load / unload the trucks for the Food Bank.

This year, Kary Movers & Towing owners, John & Monica Cousineau and their employees have stepped up again to ensure that the stress of weather and road conitions are not an issue. John & Monica will again donate the use of the two trucks and fuel while Kary Movers staff will volunteer the labour to ensure all donation drop off points are visited and all contriubutions are delivered to the Surrey distribution centre. They will be out for a full week to make sure your donations are picked up and delivered.

No matter what the weather conditions are this year, the guys will be there and take care of the generous contributions of the general public, businesses and other locations. "The staff are excited to be apart of this project again this year as are we (John and Monica). There is a true satisfaction in knowing that you are a part of such a great cause, especially at this time of year. The staff and volunteers at the Surrey Food Bank are truely the amazing ones though. They reach out to those in our community every day of the year to provide the very basics of life" states, John.

Kary Movers has also partnered up with Going Viral Productions & Marketing this year to adopt a family for Christmas. They will work with customers / clients, staff and those in their social networking circles to ensure a family in need gets groceries, a great Christmas dinner, toys, gifts, clothing, much needed furniture and other suprises from Santa this year. The team at Kary Movers is like a big family. They work and play together. It only makes sense that they would give to others as a team and a family.
