Graduate Photo Exhibition to be held at SACAC premises, New Delhi

DELHI, India -- Delhi: Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, New Delhi is delighted to host and present to you, the Graduate Photo Exhibition-2013, opening on the 29th of November at 4.00 pm. Exhibition will conclude on 6thDecember at 8.00 pm. Renowned photographer Dayanita Singh will inaugurate the exhibition after giving a talk and presentation, from 3.00 pm.

In the exhibition, students of Creative Photography course (http://www.sac.ac.in/professional-photography-courses.asp) will display their work in different genres of photography including documentary, conceptual and self-portraiture. The students will also display the self-published books of their works.

Also, the exhibition will feature talks and presentations as per the following schedule –

DileepPrakash– 30th November, 2013 at 6.00 pm

AltafQudio – 1st December, 2013 at 6.00 pm

The exhibition will be open from 10 am till 8 pm from 29th November to 6th December.

The Creative Photography program is a one year Post Graduate Diploma course aimed at introducing the students to the world of professional photography. SACAC equips its students to translate their passion to a profession through this program. The curriculum is designed in such a way that students become much more refined both as individuals and as photographers. Helping making the camera an extension of the photographer’s inner eye had always been the pursuit of the faculty at SACAC.

Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication (SACAC) is an autonomous non-profit mass communication institute for creative learning in media arts and communication. Started in 2003 as a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry, SACAC is a multi-disciplinary institute with programmes in Advertising & Public Relations (http://www.sac.ac.in/advertising-public-relations-course.asp), Creative Photograph (http://www.sac.ac.in/professional-photography-courses.asp), Film Production, Journalism and Sound Design. Located in the heart of South Delhi, in the sprawling green campus of the Delhi Branch of Sri Aurobindo Society, it has earned name and recognition as a centre for learning and excellence.
