“A fairly substantial portion of our population suffers from some kind of disability. This section of population though suffering from some disability also houses tremendous amount of talent in many other fields of activity. Today, on World Disability Day, let us embrace our differently-abled fellow countrymen and work towards creating a better tomorrow for them. Let us work together to make this world an easier and more accessible a place for those who are disabled. The emphasis should be more on the ability than the disability. We need to work towards building a society which has a positive mindset to accept the differently-abled. Lets come forth and help them to lead an independent and self-sustained life and without discriminating and ostracizing them.”
