BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- The Brooklyn Firebirds are a Professional Basketball Team in Brooklyn New York. The Firebirds joined the North American Basketball Development Leagues Association (NABDLA). The NABDLA is a National Basketball Assoctiation with Professional Basketball Teams in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, and Virginia with teams joing rapidly in other States as well.
All NABDLA and Firebird games are filmed or recorded and all player statistics are properly recorded. Then everything is placed online through the main association website and on Eurobasket.com or Usbasket,com.
The Firebirds and the NABDLA are supported by Aspire Sports Management with a worldwide connection with over 18,000 teams and clubs worldwide including NBA and NBA D-League teams. All players are encouraged to sign with Aspire Sports Management for maximum exposure and worldwide placement for players career advancement.
If that were not enough, the NABLDA and the Firebirds have also connected with "Bridge to the Pros" which conducts major direct international tryouts in many major US cities in June - July of every year. Top FIBA coaches from championship teams are flown into the US to conduct direct tryouts. Each tryouts have at least 100 FIBA teams participating with at least 85 job openings per event. Players put the ball on the floor in front of decision makers of teams or clubs worldwide and if the team likes the player a contract is offered at the tryouts. ALL NABDLA and Firebird player get free registration to all Bridge to the Pros direct tryouts!
The Firebird season begins February 2014 and ends at the end of May 2014. Then all players go to the direct tryouts and tryout direct to teams worldwide. No other Association, League, or team outside the NBA in the USA provides such a platform and real esposure for professional basketball athletes!
