MOSCOW, Idaho -- (MOSCOW, ID) – Now in its fifth year, Nativities Around the World is once again inviting anyone who is interested to temporarily lend their nativity sets to this unique collection of over 400 nativities. The nativities will be on display Moscow, December 11th through the 15th. With nativities crafted from native materials, and representing various cultures’ interpretation of the birth of Christ, this is your opportunity to join in a special experience for families and individuals.
It takes over 200 volunteers and hundreds of hours to organize Nativities Around the World, a multi-denominational, free event, open to everyone. Nativities Around the World is seeking additional volunteers to help set up, decorate, bake rolls and cookies, sew, host, and assist with myriad other opportunities to bless the lives of others. Set up will begin on Monday, December second, with the bulk of work taking place on Friday, December 6th through Tuesday, December 10th.
The Nativities are on loan from local families, most in Latah County Idaho and Whitman County, Washington. Around the clock security is on site to protect these precious heirlooms. Additional nativities are always welcome. If you have a nativity that you would like showcased in the Nativities Around the World this year, please:
