SYDNEY, Australia -- SYDNEY NSW: Stephanie Perry, a Sydney-based marketer, blogger and mother-of-two has just launched her latest venture, love local.
This unique, cross-platform resource is dedicated to increasing exposure and opportunities for small businesses, and offers a blog with featured reviews, photo galleries and a free business directory.
Love local focuses on small businesses, entrepreneurs and sole traders, honing in on businesses that interact with their local communities – with the aim of nurturing and increasing support for smaller businesses, rather than multinationals.
So far, love local has featured a macaroon patisserie in Sydney’s south, a catering and beverage company in the CBD, a boutique Glamping sole-trader from the Hawkesbury region, a locally-based online gift store and a healthy living guru/author from the Eastern Suburbs – all of which are indicative of the variety and diversity of love local’s online directory.
Since its launch in September 2013, love local has received an overwhelming level of positive support and feedback from both business owners and the local community.
Stephanie found that there were few websites dedicated to connecting micro businesses and the community – so she decided to create an online environment where these two organisms could flourish. And so, love local was born.
