The Mall Design & Development Middle East Summit is the first event of its kind to bring together the major developers and architects at the heart of some of the most iconic mall developments across the region. The summit will be held from the 26 – 29 January 2014 in Dubai, U.A.E.
Nakheel, Majid Al Futtaim, Aldar Properties, HOK, Atkins and more will be presenting their latest projects as well as debating how mall development will evolve in an increasingly saturated market.
As the Middle East enters a new period of growth in the retail sector, this transformation will be defined by mall expansion taking place in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria.
Some of the upcoming mall projects that will be showcased at the Mall Design & Development Middle East Summit will be the prestigious Nakheel Mall on the Palm in Dubai, the Sowwah Central Mall in Abu Dhabi and the Mall of Qatar.
“This is a really important event for the region and the conference discussions will include: how to provide a superior shopping experience and ensure your mall is the ‘place to be’? How to design a mall that will drive in-store footfall and revenue? How to develop attractive proposals to secure your flagship store? and more,” said Conference Director at IQPC, Julie Coates.
Contractors such as UrbaCon and Dutco Balfour Beatty and consultants EC Harris will also be providing their perspective on tackling the challenges of delivering a differentiated mall experience, especially when constructed under increasingly pressured time scales.
