(Fort Worth, TX) Savage Summer: Vampire Rock and Roll (Progressive Rising Phoenix Press, October 11, 2013) combines a supernatural thriller with a romantic love story. Certainly not your typical vampire story, McWilliams has developed engaging characters as well as a fast paced read.
The main character, Duncan, finds refuge like most teens in music. Joining a band, Savage Summer, he discovers his first thirst for blood. Uncertain if he's a vampire, his story unfolds with twists and turns along the way. Well delivered.
