AL BARSHA, United Arab Emirates -- Aiming to consolidate its growing reputation in the key European markets, the Grand Millennium Dubai’s Director of Sales & Marketing will join the Dubai team on the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing destination stand at United Kingdom's leading travel exhibition this November.
Vanessa Waldow will be at World Travel Market in London between November 4 and 7 to contact and contract leading tour operators and travel agents from both the UK and other European markets at the prestigious travel trade show that takes place annually at ExCel - London and attracts nearly 48,000 travel industry professionals and international press.
According to Mr Peter Mansourian, General Manager of the Grand Millennium Dubai, the event is a vital platform to showcase the facilities of the hotel: “While there have been high expectations from developing markets such as South America, China and Russia in recent years, it is interesting to note that the UK remains one of the most important feeder markets to the hospitality business in Dubai.”
Focus of the Grand Millennium Dubai sales pitch at WTM will be to introduce the facilities of the newly refurbished Al Thurayya Ballroom, offering capacity for up to 400 people and an unrivalled location on the 20th floor of the hotel – plus the new look apartment tower with 136 studios, one- and two-bedroom units designed to accommodate long-stay guests and larger groups.
