RUGELEY, U.K. -- Food lovers from across Leicestershire are being invited to an altogether tastier lunch hour in Sileby on Saturday 5th October between 12-1.30pm, courtesy of leading local housebuilder Jelson Homes.
The developer’s Springbank Meadows development in Sileby will play host to a free live cookery demonstration and sampling event for a select number of people, who are interested in learning more about tasty autumnal meals, while learning expert tips to spice up dinner times.
Hosted by chef lecturer Paul Latimer from Leicester College, he will be developing two separate dishes on the day, cooking them to perfection before serving up in the housebuilder’s executive show home kitchen. Guests will then have the opportunity to look around the luxurious four-bedroom property and witness what living in a Jelson home could be like.
Jackie Woodward, sales manager for Jelson Homes, comments: “We wanted to hold an event to acknowledge British Food Fortnight and we thought what better way to recognise all that is great about our cuisine than to host a lunch hour in our very own show home kitchen, which is a great size for an intimate event of this nature.
“Due to limited numbers, we are asking all those interested in coming along on the day to email their name, address and contact number to sarahc@jelson.co.uk. Names will then be drawn at random on Friday 4th October and guests notified.
“The day promises to be a tasty treat for all those who would love to learn more about home cooking at its very best.”
