TAUNTON, U.K. -- St Margaret’s is asking you to join them on October 27th in a unique Halloween Challenge. The charity is asking you to dress up in your best spooky outfits and jump out of a plane (minus broomsticks) in a great Halloween skydive.
And to show real commitment to the cause Staff of the hospice will be joining you and jumping too! Four members of the fundraising team have each pledged to raise the £395 needed to jump in tandem to support the charity they hold dear.
“Most of us are terrified of heights and are shivering in our boots just thinking about doing this but when we see what our patients go through and how they overcome their fear it puts it all into perspective,” said Brooke Brownlow, St Margaret’s events fundraiser. “We are now working on convincing a few more of our colleagues to join us!”
Twenty five people have already signed up for this daring event and the charity would love to see the total reach 50.
