On the rage in the Urban Fantasy category of books, from award-winning author R.J. Tolson, Zephyr the West Wind will keep you up all night long! Hated by everyone in his island village for an unknown reason, Zephyr tries to make his way through life as he begins on a quest to not only learn the past of the father that abandonded him, but the destiny that awaits him. With a quest that seems almost impossible, twist and turns that he could never have imagined, will Zephyr be able to combat his inner demons and the creatures of the world around him, or fail on his great quest?
Tolson, who attended middle and high school boarding schools (The Rectory School and Cheshire Academy respectively) in Connecticut and who set a portion of his addicting novel near Cheshire (called Cheshria in the novel), was in town to sign copies of his Chaos Chronicles book 1 novel, at locally owned independent R.J. Julia Booksellers. Zephyr, the heroine of Zephyr the West Wind, finds himself in the middle of a huge conflict in Cheshire as he continues his journey to find the truth of the world.
“I had a good time here and made great friends,” Tolson said, “and I keep revisiting the area in my books as a way to keep in touch with those memories, as they meant so much to me. Not that the memories contained any paranormal happenings of sorts...” He was excited to finally be able to return to the area to meet readers at his booksigning and other authors at this weekend’s Local Author Night, an event held by R.J. Julia Booksellers.
Tolson signed copies of the first book in the Chaos Chronicles Series, Zephyr the West Wind, at R.J. Julia Booksellers, 768 Boston Post Rd, Madison, CT 06443 on August 27, 2013, from 6–7:30 p.m. It is noted that he left signed copies, so we implore you to go by the limited ones!
